Please take a few minutes to participate in the NVMA Survey -
Dear NVMA Members,
The NVMA has put together a small survey of 10 questions in order to get feedback on how the Association is doing and how it can better serve its members. To participate in the survey, click on the following link:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2012NVMAMemberSurvey. The survey will be available for the next 30 days. Please encourage your colleagues to also participate. The more feedback the NVMA receives, the better the NVMA will be able to meet its member’s needs.
The NVMA also has a Facebook page and if you haven’t “liked” the page yet, please do so at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Nevada-Veterinary-Medical-Association/166424306707.

Webinars Explore AAHA-AVMA Pet Healthcare Guidelines
The newly published AAHA-AVMA Canine and Feline Preventive Healthcare Guidelines provide a great opportunity to educate pet owners about the essentials of good pet health and well-being, and to encourage them to practice responsible pet ownership by providing preventive care check-ups at least once a year. After participating in the web conference, veterinarians will be better able to:
• Understand the AAHA/AVMA Canine and Feline Preventive Healthcare Guidelines
• Implement the guidelines in their practice
• Educate clients about preventive healthcare for their pets, and
• Make feline preventive care visits less stressful for cats and their owners.
To view the webcast, click here. It is open to all veterinary practices.
